This was originally going to be created in Poser and the rendered in 3DS Max, but I was so happy the way it came out in Poser that I stopped there. I may well go back and do it VRay one day, just to see what it would be like, but until then… :-)
One of theĀ more cartoon like characters available for Poser and one that I don’t use all that often. Still, she has her uses and I think this image came out very nicely :-)
Did some hardcore with Vue as well, but this sort of thing became really difficult to set up, even if the results were quite pleasing.

Another variation on the requests theme - if you find a picture that you think would make a good scene then send it to me. You can either post a URL on this blog or tweet the image/URL to @Halibut72. I’m always looking for fresh material to use
This image was done recently for a friend. That’s right, I do requests! If you have a scene that you fancy having captured in CGI form then hit the Questions and Requests button, tell me what you’d like and I’ll see what I can do.
Another of the better results that came out of Vue.
Another from the Vue files, which nicely shows off what indirect lighting (otherwise known as global illumination or GI) can do for you. When this image was rendered using Poser, the area around her crotch was just one big shadow, whereas here you can
One thing Vue does really well is water, be it pools, rivers or just droplets. I’m still trying to find a good way of doing wet skin in VRay and if anyone has any ideas I’d love to hear them.
Another one from the Vue Era. Love all that shiny latex :-)
I went through a period of using Vue 8 to render my Poser files. It was a pain to do and I didn’t persist with it for long, but some of the results could be worth it :-)
Another one from the archive, this time using Poser Pro 2010. This came out far better than I was expecting at the time and still rates as one of my all time favourites.
This is a much earlier image created and rendered solely in Poser (Poser 7, I think). The lighting and materials aren’t nearly as good as what you get in VRay, but I still like it :-)
This is my all time favourite. The pose, the lighting, the materials it all just came together perfectly. This was inspired by a scene in a porn film, a common source of inspiration and I often find myself going back through videos and taking screen shots
This was inspired by a video and recreates the moments after the cumshot. Took quite a bit of work in Poser to get right (and it’s probably just as well you can’t see the blonde’s other arm! ;-) ) but I was still very happy with the
Continuing the masturbation theme, this one was easy to pose but the setting proved problematic. The first scene I put her into was far to garish and felt like you were having your retinas burnt out, so I ended up with this much more restrained setting.
Posing the character was the easy part in this image. I had no suitable bathroom set to put her in so I had to make this one from scratch in 3DS Max. Hey, I’d made a glass dildo, how hard could this be? As it turned out, the most difficult thing
This image was inspired by a picture I found at random whilst idly surfing the web. I’m really pleased with the way it came out, although in retrospect I would have shot it with the characters facing the other way so that there was a large light
This was another scene that I used for a lot of experimentation. Although I had got the skin pretty much as I wanted, the facial details - particularly the eyes - didn’t look right. After a lot of trial and error (mainly error) this was the result
This was model that I used to practice getting VRay materials right with. It started off as a demo for friends to show how far Poser had come, and then morphed into one showing the difference between Poser’s Firefly engine and VRay. At the time
So, I’ve recently got the hang of importing characters from Poser Pro 2012 and then rendering them in 3DS Max 2011 with VRay 2.2. This was one of the first I did and it’s still one of my favourites so far :-)
