Another Applejack sketch
Lyra Presents: As you can see, Lyra in a hoodie. I messed around a bit with this one with some light reflection, along with a few different brush and shadowing settings. And hair detail, that too.
I decided to try drawing a sketch with my tablet, instead of just using it for line art and stuff, and made this. Not too great, a bit messy, I definitely need practice, but not bad, I would say.
A sketch of Lyra, sitting on a bench, in a hoodie. Because ponies, that’s why. Slightly based off of the depiction of Lyra in the excellent fanfiction Background Ponies, except for the whole not remembering seeing her part. I think you would remembe
Several mare bit sketches I made while attempting to teach myself how to draw, well, I’m sure you can figure that out. Anyway, most of these are based of of pieces made by amazing artists such as Doxy and RatOfPoni. Mostly Rat, actually. Check out
A bit more Twilight x Dash. Twilight’s expression looks a bit like Miss Cherilee, but meh, it turned out all right all in all.
Dash- What are you waiting for? This is one of my (mostly) original pictures, not based off any one piece of art in particular. I messed around with the shadows a bit to give it a bit more “pop”, and added a basic shadow onto the cloud she&rsq
Flutterplot: Some more practice with the more intimate pony bits, this time in color. I’m liking how these are starting to come out, but they still, of course, need a bit more practice.
A ponyization of one of Doxy’s pieces I sketched, to see how it would look. (Tongues are hard to draw IMO)
Vinyl’s Waiting: After watching one of Atryl's live streams, I picked up a tip or two on how to get what I want in PaintTool SAI. I threw a few filters on such, so you can tell me in my requests page if you think I should take it off, or if you
Quick late night sketch: A quick(ish) sketch that I made of some pony bits. Not quite sure if I like exactly how it came out, but I have to say I am at least getting a little better at this.
A quick sketch I made of some Twilight plot. I’m practicing a bit with the drawing stallion and mare bits, so my style is most likely going to be refined of changed a bit. For now, I’m borrowing a bit from here and a bit from there, trying
Octavia Lick I line art-ed and colored one of my previous sketches with my tablet. I tried to do some shadowing, but gave up about half way, and reverted back to the current version. Practice makes perfect, I guess. If I ever actually get around to
Fluttershy Weekend sketches: The second sheet of sketches I made, this one entirely of Fluttershy. They almost make a story, if only a short one.
Forgotten sketch: This was going to be Friday’s sketch, but I forgot to upload it then. Whoops! Well, here it is now; some Rainbow Dash x Mac action. I’m not quite sure if I drew the head to the correct proportions, but oh well. It is a sketch
Once again, something a bit different. Here’s some Dash x underwater tentacle goodness. Seriously, I have no idea where this came from. The idea sort of just popped into my head when one of my friends mentioned seaweed, for some reason.
Bonus photo today, hopefully to make up for the sketch time I’ll miss this Saturday. The expression took far longer than it should have for me to draw, but I think I’m happy with what I decided on.
Part seven of my daily drawing exploits. I’m trying to try something at least slightly different every day, so here’s something slightly different. Also, Fluttershy.
Two photos today. Double pony Tuesday, I guess. I like the sound of that… well, hopefully, I can do double post day more than once a week. We’ll see what happens, I guess. Here’s some Vinyl, and some Octavia and Vinyl. Enjoy!
My fifth consecutive daily sketch, this one of Rainbow Dash. I would say this is my best yet, but then I would be saying it every other sketch, so I’ll abscond. Enjoy.
It looks like this is going to be a habit, one post per day. Here’s some Pinkie Pie for you all. Still charcoal pencil, until I discover something else that works as well with my scanner. Number 2 pencils don’t quite cut it.
Wow, my third post in three days. I may just make a habit of this yet. Anyway, here’s a little charcoal treat for all those Applejack lovers out there.
Yes, it’s exactly what it looks like. I’m not sure exactly why I used a picnic table, but I kind of like it. Maybe it’ll be my trademark? The world will never know. Also, I’m still messing around with charcoal (with a bit of brushi
Well, hello, Tumblr, I guess this is my first post. This is actually my first drawing of this type, or in charcoal, but I really like how it came out myself. Feel free to give me tips if you feel otherwise. Also, I may get around to arting it up a bit
