b7lab: The Goddess Project - Wet Plate Tintypes I have thought of doing this project for a long time now; shooting strong powerful images of the women in my life on the altar of the goddess. Creating a record on metal of a beautiful moment where the

b7lab: Oh yes, when Kelly comes to town we shoot. It is our thing, well, that and going to Pica Pica for gluten free food love. I have a few more plates to shoot since my RAW files for them got themselves corrupted, I think they were taking kickbacks.
b7lab: Here’s a digital of Alisha that I shot during a wet plate shoot, different pose but the same exact set up, lighting, etc. Interesting as a side by side between two disparate photographic technologies.
b7lab: Tullee came to town and we shot some photos. She is bitchin.
b7lab: Every Sunday morning should start with some new images of the intensely beautiful wonderfullness that is Rachel. You know it. I know it. So let’s get to it already. Don’t worry if you get to the last image and want more and find yourself
b7lab: Hedy is an Italian model I recently worked with and we got some interesting shots together. Communication was a tad tough since the only Italian I know happens to be curse words, not so good for directing model I find though.
b7lab: Valentine and I have shot together 3 times now and I am constantly amazed at how fantastic every plate comes out. We get great stuff together and I look forward to many more shoots in the future!

b7lab: This is a random shot we took when Kelly was here last. We didn’t shoot a lot just hung out mostly but I do like this one. The tones on her face and the lighting make it for me. As do the heels!
b7lab: And here is the rest of what Kelly and I shot together.
b7lab: Lisa and I got to shoot again right after Christmas and we got even more good plates.
b7lab: Vivian de Milo and I finally got a chance to work together. It will not be the last time either! She was awesome to work with and she is a work of art to photograph. Can’t wait to make more images with her.
b7lab: Here are a few more from the shoot with Alisha. We will most likely re-shoot the one with the cigarette and posture brace. The exposure was off and it was the end of the day and the light was changing quickly so I am not completely happy with
b7lab: This is the series for the day. They range in size from 8x10" to 18x24", and all were on aluminum except for 2 that are on glass. Can you tell which ones? Mia was patient and a total trooper for putting up with my multiple takes.

b7lab: Amanda and I had been trying to shoot together for what seems like ever and we finally got a chance last month. She is awesome to work with and I hope we shoot again sometime.
b7lab: I have been wondering lately whether to use my Tumblr to post digital work. I started it as a way to express my analog, wet plate self but lately I have been looking over past work and I am thinking that maybe it might be time to let some of
b7lab: Audrey and I shot together maybe a year and a half ago, when I was fairly new to the world of wet plate and we have been trying to shoot again for a while since a lot of my chemistry was giving me fits back then. We finally got some time earlier
b7lab: I got a little hankering for some fishnet bodysuits and so here you go!
